Here's a set of 10 GLO FRIENDS Pencil Toppers by Bonux. I think the story is that they were given out as a promo item with a brand of detergent from France or UK. 

I wouldn't say these are really that rare. Yes, they are rare to the US. Actually, these aren't that hard to find if you do your research well. What is rare is just certain characters I'm sure. Don't ask me which ones though, I'm not that detailed!! I usually don't give any numbers to you as far as value, but this would be one exception. You shouldn't ever pay more than $5 each. The best bargain would be to find a "lot" of them for sale.   ----- $ -----

These GLO FRIENDS items fall under the Room Decor category. There are pretty items for a girls to place on her dresser or vanity table (jewelry box, etc) or hang on the walls (mirrors) to help decorate the room with a Glo Friends theme. 

1.   1986 Hasbro GLO FRIENDS Glo Snugbug SOAP dish - well here I thought it was a change dish or small jewelry dish. In fact, it's a SOAP DISH! Made by Cliro, just like the scented soaps. And, speaking of the cute little soaps, there is one included in the box with the Soap Dish. (Package not shown). Very cute and very rare. Purchased from the UK.     --- $ ---

2.   1985 Hasbro GLO FRIENDS Jewelry Box - made of pink vinyl and the design on the front glows in the dark. Hard to find because the cheap vinyl tears easily. Very hard to find item.     --- $ ---

3.   1980s Hasbro GLO FRIENDS Snow Dome - I show two, but they are pretty much the same design. One has water, one is without water (I cracked the backside). The prettier one on the left has the Glo Worm in a different position. But that's because the snow dome was drained and refilled and for some reason the Glo Worm was reattached in a different spot. They are very hard to find in any condition.     --- $ ---

4.   1985 Hasbro / Friendly Reflections GLO FRIENDS Wall Decor Mirror - Friendly Reflections made many mirrors with different character designs. The Glo Friends series has three. They are Glo Butterfly, Glo Snugbug, and Glo Worm. I only have two in my collection (missing Glo Snugbug). The Glo Worm mirror is shown in the original package. I included pictures of the back of the package to show the different designs available. These do come up for sale now and then. It is rare to find them in the package.      --- $ ---

Most GLO FRIENDS VHS Tapes are fairly common. They don't hold much value overall, especially being VHS. Especially since most people aren't able to view or test them anymore. As with most Glo Friends stuff, rarity depends on where you live and are collecting/buying at. The tapes from the US for a US collector are common, and should be cheap to buy. But, other countries would be harder to find for a US collector.

These pictures in this post show all the tapes in my own collection. There are definitely more out there. Also note that the My Little Pony and Friends tapes are a little more pricey because they are a cross-collectable. They include Charmkins, Moondreamers, and Potato Head Kids, as well as MLP and Glo Friends.      ----- $ -----

Here's a large group of 1980s GLO WORM and GLO FRIENDS toys for baby and kids. 

1. 1985 Playskool GLO WORM Musical Jack-in-the-Box featuring Glo Friends characters. Item shown is new in box. Because of the paper decals around the toys, there is usually wear when found used. Item isn't too rare, but usually shows a lot of wear. 

2. 1984 Hasbro / Meritus GLO WORM Pop-Up Box. Showing box only. Item has paper decals and is usually worn easily. Item is not too rare, but shows a lot of wear when found. 

3. Hasbro / Meritus GLO WORM Stack 'n' Glo. Item shown is new in box. Showing pictures of the box and toy. 

4. 1986 Playskool Baby GLO FRIENDS Glo Baby Little Squeaker Toy. Item shown in original packaging. Including picture of the back of the package which shows other items available in the "Little Squeaker" series. There shows 3 total: Glo Baby, Glo Bug, and Glo Worm. 

5. 1987 Hasbro / Playskool / Tommee Tippee GLO WORM Squeeze Toy. Item shown in original packaging. I believe this was a Canada release because of the French translation at the top of the card, but also that I bought it from a seller in Canada. I'm showing a picture of the back of the package for informational purposes. Unfortunately, it does not say if there are other squeeze toy characters made. 

6. 1980s Telitoy GLO FRIENDS Pram Set by Telitoy (UK). This appears to be bedding for a baby doll. There is also what appears to be a matching Baby Doll Carrier out there as well.

Here's a set of 9 (out of 10 known) GLO FRIENDS wood board puzzles by Hasbro & Playskool, 1985. All are in original packaging (cardboard frame with shrink wrap). Backside of packaging shows other available puzzles, but does not say how many are in the Glo Friends series. These are all the Glo Friends designs I have found so far (the 9 shown packaged, plus one other I have seen in used condition). I have seen different puzzles from this series for sale. Some designs are definitely more common than others. I don't think I've ever seen another Glo (Moon Drop) Pond & Moon puzzle for sale though.    ----- $ -----

This series of GLO FRIENDS Puzzles was released in the U.S. market. They are rather large board puzzles, compared to others in my collection. All are by Milton Bradley / Hasbro Bradley, 1985. 

There are only 4 in this series: Glo Butterfly, Glo Bug, Glo Grannybug, and Glo Worm. 

I used to see a lot of these for sale. Now, I only see a few for sale, but never a set. They are easier to find here in the U.S. which may make them rare for other countries. But keep in mind that because they are larger than usual, they may be a little harder to package for shipping etc. If you find one of these still packaged, it appears to be only shrink that covers it. Which makes sense because of the hole at the top for hanging.     ----- $ -----
