Playskool released a set of 12 GLO FRIENDS through Wendy's Fast Food Restaurant Kids Meals in 1988.
This was probably Playskools last attempt to get consumers to buy Glo Friends toys. While Playskool continued to make the Light-Up Plush Dolls through the years, they no longer made the glow-in-the-dark finger puppet dolls.
These are sort-of rare. While they are sold from time to time, certain ones are rare. On a good day, you could buy these for $2 each, but have seen them go up to $30. Also, a collector should know that there appears to be two types of packaging. Some came with the little catalogs, others had none. The last two pictures show the mini-catalog insert.
