Here it is!!! The part of my collection that most of you are probably interested in. In this post, I have included pictures of every Glo Friends Finger Puppet toy made. I have also included all of the Glo Animals, Glo Turtle, and Glo Dragonflyer.

Only thing missing here is Glo Land. The whole set is shown in a separate post.

I am no expert on any Glo Friends stuff. Merely observations I've made, or info I have found on the internet. So, when I go into detail on the Dragonflyer set, or other Glo Friends toys, it's only based on what I've learned through years of collecting.

There is a story that Dragonflyer and Shuttlebug were put into production, but because of poor movie sales, they didn't actually make any packaged sets to be sold on the market. There are supposed to be prototypes. But, in the past few years, several have popped up for sale. I purchased mine from France, a small handful of years ago. The Shuttlebug was purchased before that, in the US. I believe that there is truth to the story, but it's probably not the whole story. There definitely are Shuttlebugs in many collections with him still in his original blister cell packaging. This makes the part of the story where Shuttlebug was actually made, and made first, before stopping production on Dragonflyer. But I think this really only applies to the US/UK. The French version (Canada/France) does include Shuttlebug, but NOT in a box that shows him peeking out the window (like Glo Turtle/Hopper set). So, yes, both were made and sold. Then, there are the Greece sets. These include Grannybug and Glo Worm in place of Shuttlebug.

In the end, it appears that there were Dragonflyers made and sold, but not for the English (US/UK) market. It doesn't appear that there were many made though. This still makes both Dragonflyer and Shuttlebug extremely rare. They are just as rare in the box, as out of the box. But most collectors are willing to pay a little more to have it Mint-In-Box. Out of ALL Glo Friends toys, Dragonflyer would appear to be the most valuable and sought after. Then, of course, Shuttlebug comes next.

I hope you enjoy my collection!!!

    1. Hi. Sorry, I do not have an extra one. She's definitely on the "hard to find" list. Please have patience. I would suggest checking ebay often. There have been times when I have won a "Buy It Now" auction within a few hours of the seller listing the item. In fact, one of my prized possessions is a Funskool doll that I won on a Buy It Now auction. It was only up for less than an hour and there was no hesitation on my part to buy it! Having the patience will make the reward of finding it all the more sweeter. Trust me. And, Good Luck!!!
