These are different types of handbags, purses, etc in my collection. There are definitely more out there, including a wallet, coin purse, and several types of tote bags and purses. Some purses and Tote Bags (made by CDI) have Finger Puppets (cut in half) attached to them. Any purse or other bag is rare to find. Some are definitely more difficult to find, but their value is pretty similar in comparison. Only if it has the "extra cute" factor would it probably be worth paying more money for.
What I show here is:
1. 1980s GLO FRIENDS - BACKPACK - Glo Spider design, blue waterproof canvas. Awesome condition. Extremely Rare find. *****$$+*****
2. 1985 Hasbro / Creative Designs International Limited - GLO FRIENDS - CANVAS PURSES & TOTES - including one purse that is still in its original package. I show two tote bags, and four purses from my collection. These are rare, but seem to be harder to find in the U.S. *****$-$$*****
3. 1985 Hasbro GLO FRIENDS - VINYL PURSE - Vinyl, pink, with glow in the dark design. This is a very hard to find item. *****$*****
4. 1985 NECKLACE PURSE by Telitoy (UK) - GLO FRIENDS - this is an example where packaging is important. Without it, I would have no idea that there are actually 6 designs to collect (Bug, Spider, Turtle, Worm, Granny, Butterfly). The Glo Worm Necklace Purse is an extremely difficult item to find, whether used or new, especially any of the other characters. *****$$+*****
Like most Glo Friends stuff, some part of each of these items do glow in the dark!
I've got a handbag just like the one you got still packaged (purple with white flower) but mine has bashful bug on it...

Wow! Yes, thanks for letting me know. I keep track of every different Glo Friends/Glo Worm item made. I have my own personal checklist, but still need to work on perfecting & publishing my list for other collectors.
