Though some of these items fell into some of the categories I made up, I thought it best to just group these by the Manufacturer (HG Toys). The back side of all of the items on cards is blank (just a upc barcode) so I thought it best not to bother showing them here. I'm not sure if these were exclusive to the US market, or if they were also sold in the UK. I can only be sure about the US because of the price tags left on a few of the packages. Only one that was sold in the France/Canada market was the "Glo Worm Clip-On Broche".
1. 1986 Hasbro/HG Toys GLO FRIENDS "Glo Bug" Bank. These come up for sale every now and then. It shouldn't be hard to find one at a good price. ----- $ -----
2. 1986 Hasbro/HG Toys GLO FRIENDS "featuring Glo Worm" Sunglasses. Has Musical Glo Worm character design. Not sure if there are other characters available. I've only seen this pair so far. These are very rare, and probably more so outside of packaging because they are made so cheaply. I'd imagine it didn't take long for a child to break these and throw them out. ----- $+ -----
3. 1986 Hasbro/HG Toys GLO FRIENDS K.I.D. Tag. - SET OF TWO shown - Glo Worm and Glo Snugbug tags. I don't think there are any other characters available. These are somewhat rare, whether used or still packaged. ----- $ -----
4. 1986 Hasbro/HG Toys GLO FRIENDS Clip 'n Sip. Attaches to straw. Sometimes confused for a pencil topper / accessory. These are pretty rare whether used or packaged. ----- $ -----
5 & 6. 1984 Hasbro/HG Toys GLO WORM Clip-On (US) & Clip-On Broche (Canada/France). Both items are pretty much the same, except that the coloring is slightly brighter on the Canada version. These are getting a little easier to find lately. You can find them pretty cheap too. But, don't confuse them with the Light & Learn Game Glo Worm wand piece that goes to the game. It usually has a wire attached to it, but I've seen people sell them on their own with the wire cut off. ----- $ -----
